Book Description

Preface to Second Edition:

The book is an attempt to translate the thought and spirit of Swami Digambarji's 'Geeta-Lochan' published a few years back in Gujarati.

In this Edition, transliteration of sanskrit verses is given instead of sanskrit script. The scheme for transliteration is changed from the chapter VIII. It is for the readers to judge the success of this attempt. If they find graces in the book, the credit goes to Swamiji, the short coming are mine.

I am grateful to the annonymous devotee of Lord Vishnu, who was responsible for the bringing out of this edition and to Yoga Mimamsa Press for printing the book in a short time.

Preface to First Edition:

The book is an attempt to translate the thought and spirit of Swami Digambarji's "Geeta-Lochan" published a few years back in Gujarati. It is for the readers to judge of the success of my attempt. If they find any graces in the book, the credit is the Swamiji's; the short-comings are mine.

In conclusion, I desire to acknowledge my sincere thanks to my close friend, Prof. A. D. Fernandez for going through the manuscript very carefully and for his valuable assistance and suggestions.

My thanks are sincerely due to Mr. Mohanbhai Bhardwaj-Sonex-Rajkot whose unsolicited help made this publication possible.

Last but not the least, I am also thankful to Mr. K. N. Lambe, Andheri, who did a labour of love in printing this book.
