As we all know that women comprise half of the population and our constitution gives them equal right with men, but still they are deprived of those rights and facing several problems in different sphere of life, in this male dominating society. Development and women these two things are directly correlated. Woman plays a vital role in the growth of any Nation. They contribute a major portion in our GDP, but their work is unrecognized and due to ignorance they are disadvantaged section of society. This is a need of the hour to bring the problems of women into focus and policies should be framed to empower them.
