Book Description

About The Book

The book is an academic and literary attempt to revisit, reinterpret and contextualize some of the lost, surviving and continuing social, political and cultural issues of India, both in her colonial and postcolonial periods. It echoes the postmodern preoccupations to discern polyglossic demeanor of Indian literature both in English and vernaculars. The issues of Nationalism, Bhasha Literature, Dalit Studies, Disabilities Studies, Diaspora, Gender, Cultural Studies, and Child Psychology are some of the discursive engagements in this book.
