Book Description
Among the various forms of literature adorning Sanskrit, Champu has a remarkable feature. It is a combination of both Prose and Poetry embellished with figures of speech of both sound and sense and affords scope to the poet to show his prowess through both the forms. In this collection eight champu works have been commented on which have emerged since Independence. This attempt of the author removes the misconception that regarding Sanskrit works especially of the champu form we have to merely to gloat over the past.
