50 Electric Tawa Recipes

As we move into 21st Century, a lot of changes are taking place all around us. Just like how kerosine stoves are replaced with Gas stoves in urban areas, electric cooking gadgets like Roti maker, Rice cooker, Electric Tawa are becoming popular. One of the pioneers of manugacturing these gadgets "M/s. Premier Machine Tools" from Coimbatore have introduced non-stick "Electric Tawa". On their request, I have tried out different recipes using the Electric Tawa and I have given 50 recipes in this book. Apart from our regular recipes like dosa, bread toasts, omeletts, chappathis, cutlets etc., that can be done with ordinary tawa, we can prepare many more recipes like rolls, sweets, gravies, tandoor dishes also with ease using this Electric Tawa. I feel this Non-stick "Electric Tawa" has more advantages than the traditional tawa like - it uses less oil to cook, cooks food faster, is easier to wash, can be used on a dining table also. You can cook and serve immediately. It can be carried on holidays & tours so that you can use it in hotels for simple cooking. This book is specially written for recipes using this Electric Pan or more popularly referred as Tawa in India. However these recipes can also be prepared by using the ordinary tawa. Except very few recipes, others are not a repetition from my other books. Apart from these 50 recipes more than 200 recipes from my other books can also be prepared using this Electric tawa. The details of those recipes are also given in this book in appropriate places.
