Ambedkar and Buddhism

Ambedkar was an Indian leader, influential during the colonial era and post-independence period of India. He belonged to a Dalit community, traditionally the most oppressed and marginalized group in Indian society. He was the fourteenth child in an impoverished Maharashtra Dalit family, who studied abroad, returned to India in the 1920s and joined the political movement. His focus was social and political rights of the Dalits. The book deals with different essential topics on Ambedkar and Buddhism. This book is very important in understanding a comparative study of Ambedkar and Buddhism.

Professor Arvind Prakash is a prolific writer, and has in his credit, 17 books and more than 50 research papers published in various journals and volumes. He is the recipient of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Fellowship.
