About The Book

The book, named 'Deshoyam Kurute Pronnatim', written by Dr. Hari Narayan Dikshit (Professor and Head of the department of Sanskrit, Kumaun University, Naini Tal-U. P) is a heart touching com position of the Sanskrit language followed by the self made translations in Hindi and English respecti vely. The poet of this composition has adopted a still untouched style and made a fresh approach to express his affection towards the nation He has successfully filled ths ocean of the presently burning national problems into the pot of this book So, the book has been thoroughly full of the national welfare feelings; and it leaves a deep and great impact on the readers to live and let the others live peacefully and brotherly with equal rights to everybody; and to make the real progress of India in all the fields of knowledge but without leaving our own good. Therefore, this composition of Professor Dikshit is undoubtedly a unique contribution to the growth of the Modern Sanskrit Literature. May the almighty God always bless him with more & more poetic compo situations from his sensible pen.

Preface

There was a time when our Bharatavarsa was famous in whole the universe for its philosophy of life. Every person of every nation remained desirous of visiting here for learning the lesson of truth, faith, sympathy, mercy, pity, beauty, sobriety, forgiveness, helpfulness, bravery, courage, love, non-violence, excellence, intelligence, science, manners, morals, ethology, sociology, civility, philosophy and many other important philosophies of human life also Undoubtedly it was known as the land of knowledge at that time; and from here all kinds of rays of wisdom, culture and civilization were spread all over the world. So, it was reverentially treated as Jagad guru by all other nations of the world. Not only the people of the earth, but also the gods as well as the angels of heaven remained always desirous of taking their birth again & again here on the holy land of Bharatavarsa; because at that time the pleasure, the peace & the prosperity were uniquely prevailent in our country under the desirable shadow of truth, welfare & beauty. Therefore, our Bharatavarsa was the best country in the world. But I am sorry to say that our aforesaid Bharatavarsa has become now a different one. It has been reduced to the shape of present India in the name of independence; and further, day by day, it has been certainly losing its values & qualities that are the fundamental elements of an independent, strong and good nation Subsequently our nation, our India, our motherland is internally very much perturbed and disturbed also. But, in spite of such deteriorative conditions, our leaders of to-day are happily cooking their cakes of political power & chair on every occasion of service to the nation. Although they always say loudly that India is rapidly making a remarkable progress in all the fields of society, yet it (India) is being seen here & there full of fears, tears, cries, arsons, thefts, dacoities, murders, abductions, oppressions, atrocities, communalism, regionalism, castism, corruptions, riots, poverty, hunger and so forth and so on; and all of them are thoroughly and un doubtebly undesirable in a civilized society.
In all these dangerous surroundings, one, who loves his motherland, certainly feels sorrow at his heart; and such person, I think, cannot be glad of so called national progress which is now being made by our various leaders in various fields. To my mind, such type of progress which creates the lawlessness, the deceptiveness, the hate, the indiscipline, the jealousy, the dishonesty & this etcetera, certainly can't be admired in public by the patriot people if they feel no fear from the political power.
