An Indian I Am

Foreword My friend KK Muhammed is one of India's most renowned Marcha archaeologists. It is a matter of pride for me that he is a Keralite, hailing from my district, Kozhikode. It is no mean achievement to have excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of a subject like archaeology. To put this knowledge to use in the service of the nation is an even greater accomplishment.

Without reservation, I wish to say that Muhammed is one of the few individuals in the field of archaeology who has combined in himself the qualities of scientific temper, courage and willingness to serve the downtrodden.
