Kali- Strangler of Evil

Kali represents the eternal mother of nature. She is one of the major forms of the divine Goddess, and is believed to be highly creative by nature and her principle. Although with her name and traits that she possess, a swing between good and bad forms is associated with her name. In the subsequent chapters we will have a deeper insight of why it is so.

Popularly known as a dark goddess, she has millions of followers across India and in few Asian countries too. A symbol of force, power and courage, she represents the female force too. Despite her contrasting features as a deity, she is auspiciously worshipped and followed.

The Vedas have enunciated her identity as Sakti, wife of Lord Shiva, that we read later in the chapters with a broader horizon. The relevance of her traits and principles is so highly regarded that some real life people namely, Ramakrishna Paramhans and Kalidas became huge devotees of the goddess.
