Introduction We are all familiar with "The Theology of Liberation." In fact, it has become so well known that even the most repressive of systems have tried to hijack its terminology and exploit it to publicise and justify some of their worst atrocities. There are even those who are so used to its vocabulary that they will decry it as out dated, passé - as if ideas are to be snapped up and discarded solely because of their novelty or age and not because they are relevant, challenging or insightful!.
