Book Description
Thoughts is a compilation of essays by Yogi Ashwiniji, which have appeared in various journals and newspapers in the years 2000-2007.
Yogiji is an authority on the ancient Indian sciences of Yoga and Tantra and could be called a living Guru. The Fundamentals of Thoughts is, the Guru-shishya parampara that was laid down in the ancient such as the being the aura Samadhi, Shiv-Shakti, cosmas, sukra sandhya types of marriages etc., which have mostly interpreted because of the individual viewpoints of the writes down the ages.
In the book these and many others have been presented strictly, as per the Guru-shishya parampara in their original form which had their roots in the ancient Vedic culture. This book opens the doorway into the minds and thought of the Vedic rishis.
Yogi Ashwinji the guiding light of Dhyan Foundation is perhaps the only practitoner of the ancient sciences of Yog who despite living in the material world is following the principles of Yog as were laid down thousand of years ago without any modifications or diluctions. He has been studying the being for more than a decade. He has assimilated techniques from the Vedic philosophies and formulated the Sanatan Kriya for the modern man to practice benefit from.
The Sanatan Kriya is a combination of physical exercises, breath control physical and etheric purification and Dhyan with the Guru. This unique practice affects all layers of the being that is physical emotional evolution. However this Kriya should be attempted only under the strict supervision of an expert.
Dhyan Foundation is a spiritual and charitable organisation dedicated to living and sharing and authentic path. The Foundation follow the Guru-Shishya parampara where no fee is charged for what is taught. It conducts regular workshops and weekly classes in its various centres. It also brings out a monthly newspaper called the inner world which discusses ancient like Yog Tantra Vaastu Gemmology Ayureveda and Spiritual Healing.
As part of its volunteer and charity programmes the Foundation runs a school for streets children it also hold regular langars in various parts of the where thousand are fed.
In the last decade and a half of my teachings the etheric sciences, I have come across numerous students from all walks of life and from all corners of the globe.
The enthusiasm and the questions of my students on the etheric sciences in general and Yog in particular has been a learning process for me also. It would be correct to say that the foundations of this book have laid on the innumerable questions, the enthusiasm of my students and my experiences of the etheric world.
I have picked up topics the knowledge of which are the essentials for person who wants to have an intellectual understanding of the Vedic thought on the etheric world the science of Yog and the journey of the spirit.
But for the true seeker I would say that this book is just enough to take you to the doorway to the higher worlds.
It would give you a clear understanding of the fundamentals you would be ready with all the tools but it is only your Guru who has the key to this door, so search for Him.
The world of the ether is the root and the world of the spirit and various forms of Yog could be called the branches and trunk of the tree of life.
The fruits and leaves could be called the various Siddhis which a Sadhak is blessed with when he waters and nourishes this tree in the way.
The ancient texts, which were the foundations of the Vedic thought on life are now mostly lost in oblivion the multiple invasions which India had to go through in the last eight hundred years by nomadic and barbarous invaders for whom the science of the spirit was inconsequential and who chose to destroy what they could not understand resulted in the actual knowledge being lost to mankind down the ages the various communities which dominated the Hindu way of the life gave their own interpretations of various aspects of this profound science each giving a tinge of its own Colour.
The result of all of the above was a complex jargon of interpretations views codes of conduct food habits and the correct way of life etc. The complete disagreements between scholars and the sprouting of various other schools of thoughts resulted in the formation if various communities and social groups within the followers of Vedic way of life each, calling his line of thought as the purest. This chaotic scenario is enough discouragement to any true seeker of Divinity who is choosing the Vedic way.
This book is discussing the fundamentals of the Vedic viewpoint, which have emerged purely from experience. Only in certain places I have take the help of some masters whose viewpoints concurred with the experiences of my students.
No disrespect is intended to any specific line of thought or group. The oneness of the Creator and equality of human beings are the basic teachings of the Dhyan Foundation. If I have hurt the religious sentiments of any group or line of thought unintentionally, I regret and apologise for it.
In this book topics like the Guru Shakti dimensions the beginning sandhya marriages Shiva Yog etc. have been discussed. They would in a nutshell clear the seekers mind of any doubts or inhibitions, which he would be having about the Vedic thought. The Path to traverse the tree of life would be clear.
The actual techniques to nurture the tree of life are a subject matter of the Guru-shishya strictly.
