Preface The fruitfulness of the truth or of the knowledge lies in its use for others. That is why there seems to remain incompleteness, so long as the knowledge or the truth is not utilized in the service for the mankind. It is for this purpose of making the truth as complete and successful that there manifests in the life of the great religious souls an urge and yearning to serve the others. If we try to study and understand the series of activities of the well-wishing souls of the great men, what we realise in our heart is that the real religion is to serve the mankind. If we go to study analytically the lives of the great men, who are divinely- blessed and have attained realisation of Divine self, we can visualize evidently the ideals of untiring service like God, the Divine. The incarnation (Avatara), the Real Preceptor (Sadguru) or the great men-all are rendering their services for wellbeing and development of the society.If you follow their ideals, gradually you will feel inspired at your heart to serve for the mankind. In and through the speeches as uttered spontaneously from the holy mouth or as written by His holy hand of Shri Shri Thakur, what is vividly reflected is His own inherent will and yearning. If we go through these sermons attentively, there appears before our eyes like a brilliant picture as to which should we follow as our duty. It is essentially necessary for each and every devotee-disciple to become alert and conscious about the wish and expectations of Shri Shri Thakur. These invaluable speeches are thus collected in the bookform, so that everybody may perceive clearly the implied intention of Shri Thakur either with outer sensibility or in their mental eye and also may make his life worth living by engaging him as a help towards His vow of service for the good of the world. Each and every of the speeches reflects and mirrors properly the inherent spirit of wish and will of Shri Shri Thakur Swami Nigamananda Paramahansadev.
