Bhakta Nandanar

Foreword In India we have innumerable great personalities who have been born at different times at different places in different castes. These great men not only struggled on with their everyday life but also served the society to make India a better place to live in. The ordinary man in this way imbibed not only moral good but also became the receiver of spiritual glory.

Wishing to commemorate the lives of such great people and take their life sustaining teachings and spiritual message to the common man, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has initiated a new series called "Brahmamokkate". It was decided to approach some chosen scholars to write about the great personalities.

In pursuit of this attempt, we are presenting you 'Bhakta Nandanar" written by Acharya K. Sarvottama Rao. This book is translated into English by Sri. Prema Nadakumar. We hope children and elders will be benefitted and gain a spiritual flowering of their personality.
