Book Description

About the Book
The Absolute Truth is one, which can be realised only in Silence. Spiritualism is to realise the Truth, for which religion is no bar. The Almighty is not concerned with one's religion but with love. Customs and rituals are only the outer form of religion, which depend upon the place and social circumstances. Spirituality is, however, seeking the Truth and self-realisation that are the matters of soul, which is same in every one.

The book provides a glimpse of the life and conduct of some of the great Sufi Masters from 8 Century AD. onwards. These great Masters lived like ordinary family persons, hiding their true self from the public. They believed, "Perfection is not in exhibition of miraculous powers, but perfection is to sit among people, sell and buy, marry and have children; and yet never leave the presence of the Almighty even for one moment" The essence of their teachings is: "desires are the world". Desires cause the worries and worries result into instability of mind. This, however, does not mean inaction or thoughtless action. The Almighty has given intellect to human beings to discriminate between good and bad, and Scriptures are there to guide them. To do one's best in the given circumstances leaving the result on the Almighty and to remember "Him' always with the feeling of the warmth of 'His' love in the heart is the true spirituality.

To become a true human being, one has to cover a long path. One, therefore, needs to remember, as Thakur Ram Singh ji, one of the greatest saints of our time used to say:

About the Author
The author of this book, Yogis in Silence, Shri R.K.Gupta, is a disciple of one of the greatest saints of his time Thakur Ram Singh ji, an officer in the Police Department of the erstwhile Jaipur State, who earned his livelihood by the sweat of his brow and reared his family. During his lifetime itself he had become a legendary figure because of his honesty and sincerity, and devotion to his Master Mahatma Ram Chandra ji Maharaj of Fatehgarh, UP. Born in 1950, the author had the fortune to visit his Master at the young age of 15 years, when his father, Dr. Chandra Gupta, took him to the pious feet of Thakur Ram Singh ji. A man of few words, Thakur Ram Singh ji left a deep impression and sowed the seed of Love in the heart of the author, in the first sight itself. The author spent his formidable years from 1966 to 1970 under the gracious auspices of Thakur Ram Singh ji and thereafter under Dr. Chandra Gupta, his father, who also was a great Sufi Master.

Foreword
"Guru Govind dou khade, kake lagu paon" is, outright, no problem for Shri R.K.Gupta, the author of this book. Because. "Govind, i.e. God himself is his "Guru", i.e. his Master. This is not a fiction. This is truth; and this is as true as you are reading this statement. The truth is that I have seen his spiritual Master who was the eidolon of his Master. This is so on and so forth. This is a SILSILA, which goes up and up to the infinity, the Eponym.

There have been Saints who, even after attaining the one ness with God, did not accept liberation for the Sake of people - who were weak and helpless and took the task to uplift them from morass in which they might fall and to take them on to the new pastures. The author is fortunate enough to have a similar Saint who took him in to His Lap of Love.

The "SILSILA" under the title of 'Naqsh Mumra' (Naqsh bandiya Mujaddadiya Mazahariya Ramchandriya) is a Great Hindi-Sufi family. Its genealogy is known as 'Shizra Sharif. It begins right from the Great name of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Mohammad (Peace be upon Him). H.H.Mahatma Shri Ramchandra Jee Maharaj of Fatehgarh U.P. is the 36th in this lineage and the first giaour Saint of Naqshbandiya system. The people who were granted mystagogy in this Great SILSILA by Mahatma Shri Ramchandra Jee Maharaj have now ramified it to many and are preponderating in to every nook and corner of this great country and in foreign lands, as well.

Preface
A new method of attaining full spiritual accomplishment, which was s prevalent amongst ancient Hindu Saints but was lost in oblivion with the passage of time, has been reintroduced amongst Hindus by Hajrat Maulana Fazl Ahmad Khan Sahab, through Mahatma Ram Chandra ji Maharaj of Fatehgarh. Maulana Fazl Ahmad Khan Sahab belonged to the Naqshbandi Order of Sufis, who bestowed his entire spiritual attainments upon Mahatma Ram Chandra ji Maharaj. Mahatma Ram Chandra ji Maharaj once offered to adopt Islam as his religion but Maulana Fazl Ahmad Khan Sahab rejected the idea outright. He distinguished religion from spirituality and pronounced boldly that one should follow one's own religion. The Almighty is not concerned with one's religion but with love. Spiritualism does not need following of any particular religion. Customs and rituals are only the outer form of religion, which depend upon the place and social circumstances. Spirituality, however, is seeking the Truth and self-realisation that are the matters of soul, which is same in every one and above all these things. It is the duty of everyone to follow the customs and rituals of the country and the religion in which one is born. Spirituality teaches large heartedness and not narrow mindedness. This was a unique example of a Muslim Saint giving away his entire spiritual treasure to a Hindu, without conversion.
