Foreword It is a privilege for me to write the Foreword to the book "Families in Crisis: Pastoral Care and Family Counselling Models" by Asso. Prof. Rev. Dr. Phanenmo Kath. Dr. Phanen is one of the few young upcoming scholars in the discipline of Christian Ministry, specialized in the area of Counselling. He has been teaching at Eastern Theological College for the last 14 years and at present, he is the Dean of the Department of ILEMA (Institute for Leadership Enhancement and Ministry Augmentation) in the College.

The present book is an outcome of his deep commitment and sincere research of his doctoral programme. It has eight chapters, which covers some very vital aspects on the crisis families are facing in the present context, a critical analysis of the problems, and further providing solution on how to deal with the challenges. It is indeed a well-researched study with proper documentation.
