Gems Of Advice

Preface Sadguru Swami Nigamananda Paramahamsa attained purna siddhi (absolute perfection) in tantra, jnana, yoga and prema. He emerged from Nirvikalpa Samadhi with supreme realisation: am Guru' and preached the religion of love for alleviation of suffering of mankind. His immortal teachings and advice transcend the frontiers of time, place and person. It goes without saying that his advice and philosophy present a holistic approach to life built on growth of humanity and divinity which lie latent in man.

This book titled 'Gems of Advice' contains the advice collected as gems from the oceanic advice of Sadguru Nigamanandadev. There are five chapters, the first chapter deals with principal advice; next three chapters encompass the advice pertaining to jnana, karma and bhakti respectively and the last one deals with some essential advice covering various walks of life.

The chief purpose of this small book is to acquaint and enlighten briefly the English reading people with nectar of advice and instruction of Sadguru Swami Nigamanda Saraswatidev. It presents a English rendering of His advice contained mostly in the booklet Upadesh Ratnamala prepared by his disciple Swami Premanand Saraswati. Sri Gurudev's immortal advice and instructions are to be imbibed in day-to-day life of an individual as well as society at large.

By the inexorable blessing of Sri Gurudev it is possible to collect and translate a very small portion of his advice to prepare the text of this small book. No one by advice and actions satisfied so many as He.
