Book Description
The book besides giving a bird's eye-view of the Kashmir history brings to light some of the important and significant events of our past times. It is a successful endeavour to trace the history right from the Noa's Arc to the Reading Room politics of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The book does not only elaborate on the dates and events but also links and relates them to the facts and the factors responsible for such events. The book alludes to some wonderland in the Himalyan Region which attracted so many travelers and some emperors including Alexander The Great, but none except a few guided by Buddha, succeeded in tracing it out.
The book contains detailed history of the periods of Lalta Sultan Yousuf Shah Chak and Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin. It also refers to the great historic event in the Kashmir history when Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) sent a letter to the king of Kashmir to accept Islam.
