Guru Devata Stotra Manjari

This book 'Gutu Devata Stotra Manjari' is a collection of the stotras composed by the present Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada peetham, His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Madaswamiji who is adorning the sacred throne as its 36th Acharya. This is the revise version of the book " Poems by his Holiness" brought out by the Peetham few year back. These beautiful hymns on the various jagadgurus of the peetham, Goddess Sri Sharadamba, Lord Chandramouleeswara and other Gods were composed by the jagadgutu at various times. Sri G Chandrashekaran, an ardent devotee of the Sri Math has Transliterated the Stotras in English and faithfully rendered them in English for the benefit of the English speaking devotees. The book also contains the stotras in Sanskrit. Sri G. Chandrashekharan and Sri P.V. Venkatachalam have come forward and sponsored the Print of this book with their pranams on the occasion of the 61st Vardanti-Shashtyabda Poorti of Jagadguru Mahaswamiji. The book elegantly printed by Sri Bharathi Printers has been brought out at a subsidised price to mark the Shashtyabda Poorti of the Mahaswamiji, for benefit of the devotees.

When the aspirant recites these stotras with devotion, divinity beams out from him and tranquillity naturally descends into his mind. Each hymn acts as a divine spark that lights the lamp of wisdom in the disciple. Hence it is of supreme importance to the feet of the Guru, to hold on his holy feet as him lifeline and transcend the ocean of ignorance.
