Balaganamrutham was conceived and given birth to in the year 1994 due to the insatiable craving of one person Sri K. Balasubramaniam for whom Music has been a labour of love and passion, encompassing his finer sensibilities. He had a two-pronged vision of spotting, encouraging and promoting young talent in classical music, besides exposing them to the aura of the Masters of music so that they learn to perform with increasing accomplishment and authority, as they grow up. In the process, what the connoisseurs or rasikas get is ‘Ganamrutham’. In other words, Music Marvel that is sweet to the ears and comforting to the soul. Sri. K. Balasubramaniam has been organizing monthly chamber music concerts at his residence, grooming successfully young talents. He gives them an opportunity to perform along with the masters and Titans at their annual festival which he calls Mid-season/Monsoon Music Marvel. Sri. K. Balasubramaniam conducts the Event in coordination with the Karnataka College of Percussion, Bangalore to achieve a certain amount cultural integration between the two States.

Sri. K. Balasubramaniam, is a post-graduate in Economics with specialization in marketing, Advertising, Sales Promotion, Customer Care, Event Management, Public Relations besides his experience working in a multi-national organization for over three and half decades. He was a Rotarian and District Chairman for four years in succession, for youth activities. Sri. K. Balasubramaniam also had the unique privilege of accompanying the percussion troupe of K.C.P. on a two-month tour of Canada, Unites States, London, Scotland and Switzerland in 1983 as Manager-cum-Musician, sponsored by ICCR.
