Book Description
The book is most interesting as a record of the history of the author's thoughts developing over a period of exactly two decades from the early sixties to the early eighties. It shows the early inclination of the author to understand and interpret human nature and behaviour as a unity, unity of the physical and the mental, of the creative and the evaluative, of free and conditioned forces. It contains essay on issues like art and morality, education through art and through family: juvenile delinquency, rape etc.
Karabi Sen is at present Professor of Philosophy at the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. She has been teaching this subject at the same university since 1965, and served as Chairperson of the department for the period 1981-1983.
