The Autobiography of a Killer is the story of a young cadet in the National Defence Academy as he goes about adjusting to a life that is so drastically different from the one he is used to! This book is a unique and light hearted take on the rigorous military training training that goes into the making of an Indian Army officer. It is unique in the sense that it is perhaps the first such book written by a still serving officer who writes his own days of training in a first person narration. The narrative is quick paced as the protagonist goes about describing how he adjusted to the shockingly different world of military training. Col Harpreet Singh Kohli is an ex NDA officer who got commissioned as an army officer in Dec 2001. The officer has a varied and rich military experience which includes conventional and CI operations as well as a stint as a UN Peacekeeper in the middle east and holds a Master's Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies. In addition to professional and family life, he is also an avid aeromodeller and is currently in the process of discovering the budding author within himself.
