Building God's Kingdom - Introduction To Christian Missions

Call to engage in Christian Missions demands our commitment to grow in the divine identity and purposes of God. Scripturally rooted missional endeavor led by the divine inspiration can witness God's continuing act of restoration on this earth. This book will assist the readers to establish our missionary calling on the scripture. The current trends in Christian Missions in India and beyond will enlarge the readers' vision to relearn and effectively engage in Christian ministries. Understanding the flow of changes in our society will unlock better opportunities for loving interactions and building God's kingdom amongst communities. The actionable set of questions mentioned in the book will facilitate a platform for discussion and propagation of God's loving purposes.

Rev Saji K Lukos, (a graduate of Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL) is the Founder and President of Reaching Indian Ministries International (RIMI) in USA and Mission India (MI) in India. God is using these ministries to reach South Asians with the good news of Christ worldwide.

He has authored several books and mission related articles. He has traveled to many countries and led thousands into God's kingdom. His single minded passion is to raise up 100,000 Christ-like, global leaders to fulfill RIMI's God- given vision. Saji lives near Chicago, Illinois, with his wife Moni and daughter Maryann.

Salim Tapan Pani (a graduate of South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies, Bangalore) is currently serving with Mission India Ministries and assists the Founder and President as Ministry Associate. He has great passion for Christian leadership development and training, Salim lives in Nagpur with his wife Sunita Jassal and son Ethan.

Mission proceeds from the very heart of God. His love for the lost and efforts for reconciliation with the fallen humankind is absolutely remarkable. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, He is continuously making intentional efforts by sending His agents of peace. The human history has witnessed God's enabling power in and through the lives of many saints who dedicated themselves for the accomplishment of His Mission to reach each human hearts. God convinced me of His eternal love and graciously instilled His vision to reach the unreached places in India, South Asia and beyond by developing Christ-like leaders. It is beyond my imagination to consider myself worthy for His divine mission. But, God's enabling grace sustained me and Mission India/RIMI came into existence as an obedience to our Master's call to serve the humankind.

Past 25 years is a journey of listening attentively to our Lord's voice and walking tirelessly on His footsteps. Even though, this journey was marked with constant challenges of many kinds in the mission field, but, His super natural intervention and enigmatic provision was always on time. Fast few decades have taught me to discern God's movement among the communities of India and constant engagement with the fellow mission workers, church planters and several Christian organizations provided the necessary insights to understand the core need of these communities. Since the inception, Mission India exists to study the communities, understand God's move and engage in God's mission promptly. Apart from my other publications, I had the desire to accumulate the learned insights of past missional experiences in the light of existing resources on Christian Missions and publish it in a book format. I am grateful to God for this opportunity to produce an understandable and an introductory book on Christian Missions. Mr Salim Tapan Pani joined me on this endeavor and contributed significant insights from his theological and missional experiences.
