In preparing a new book in a field where many books already exists, it is necessary to explain how it differs from those. This small book has been written basically for the simplest understanding of basics of Charaka Samhita in a Glance.

Charaka Samhita at a Glance is a rapid reference companion to Charaka Samhita. It is intended for ayurvedic undergraduates, PG scholars and teachers for a ready reference before discussions in national and international ayurvedic educational programmes. This book also aims to help the students with a quick review for their written, oral and competitive examinations.

To facilitate easy access, information about a topic has been arranged under specific and standard subject and an index of these topics has been provided. The book lists succinctly the essential sutras about Charaka Samhita and presents the key tables wherever necessary.
