About the Book

Golden rules of Vastu Shastra: Remedies and Solutions is an in-depth study of the science and art of Vastu Shastra and presents its concepts and practices in a manner that does not leave any unresolved questions. The step-by-step presentation starts with selection site or a house, and then undertaking its construction and planning the interiors, keeping in mind the principles of Vastu. The section on ' Vastu solutions' explains the usage of colour therapy, harmonization techniques and space enhancers to improve the inflow of auspicious energy in the house. The book adopts a holistic approach to Vastu Shastra and incorporates remedies and corrections as per astrology, colour therapy, crystal healing, space harmonization and Feng Shui. A section Deals with solutions for promoting marital harmony, wealth, family peace, de-stressing and can be used as a ready reckoner for difficult issues in everyday life.

About the Author

Suman Pandit, a post-graduate in Marketing Management and Public Relations, a Vedic scholar and exponent of Vastu, has the rare distinction of being proficient in astrology and Vastu Shastra. A Jyotisha Praveena and Jyotisha Vishard from ICAS, she is a reputed consultant in astrology and Vastu, besides being a regular columnist in leading dailies. Her interviews have appeared in print and electronic media and she has been conferred the title of Vastu Acharya' by the all India Federation of Astrologers' Societies.

At present, Suman Pandit is actively engaged in lecturing and conducting workshops on Vastu and is on the panel of experts of India times. Com, the astrology website of The Times of India. This is her third book on Vastu, the other two being Vastu for Homes and Vastu for Workplace, besides two books in Hindi, Grih Vastu and Karyasthal Vastu.

I am sure this book would be useful and beneficial for every user student and practitioner of Vastu for acquiring a deep understanding of the art and science of Vastu.

In the following pages you will observe as to how Vastu anomalies and defects could be corrected at the inception stage itself or if such flaws have already occurred in relation to the site or constructed building how to rectify them at that stage.

Vastu guidance and counsel of a Vastu expert should be sought before a plot of land is purchased. Once a plot with suitable Vastu strength has been purchased the construction work can be carried out as per Vastu guidelines. There is however no course for anxiety if a plot of land has already been purchased and house building constructed thereupon or if you are living in a rented house. In such cases the balancing of the primary elements of nature can be incorporated in the interior design and placement of furniture, water bodies electrical and electronic gadgets or by appropriate use of color therapy, lighting, pyramids, plants and crystals etc.

The awareness of the importance of Vastu is increasing day by day and people seek counseling and guidance at various stages of selection construction and interior planning. In my practical experiences as a Vastu consultant I have witnessed the positive changes Vastu has brought about in my life as well as in the lives of my numerous clients. This has been a cause of immense satisfaction to me personally.
