Ram Krishna Sharma (1922-1986) was born at Maymo in Burma, but had his early education in Kalimpong, where the family finally settled. He studied law and joined the judicial service. He retired as Justice, Calcutta High Court.
Rama Krishna Sharma, one of the foremost Nepali critics, has five volumes of critical writing, one collection of poems, an epic, Balidan and two essay collections to his credit. His work portrays him at his best as a scholar, an observer of men and times, and his faith in divine providence.
Shanti Chhetri (b.1948) is a Ph.D from North Bengal University and is presently Jt. Director Education Department, Gangtok. She has seven books to her credit, which include collection of poems and critical writing.
