As there is no officially endorsed theory of atonement as such by any Creed or Council yet and as the Scriptures also does not provide any theory of atonement per se, lot of ambiguity has come up regarding the most fundamental aspect of Christian Faith-How exactly did Christ save us?

This book searches the answer through an attempt towards a unified vision of salvation using the Dramatic Model of Theology of Hans Urs von Balthasar and Raymund Schwager- two of the eminent theologians of the modern era, with the aid of the Mimetic Theory of the French anthropologist and sociologist René Girard; to a truer understanding of the nature of salvation while covering some contentious topics such as goodness and wrath of God, nature of sin and hell, theological relevance of Holy Saturday etc.
