Vedanta And The Future Of Mankind

Mankind today has made phenomenal material progress with the aid of science and technology. Man has acquired immense knowledge and power over the elements. He has not, however, acquired wisdom commensurate with the widening of his horizon in the realm of knowledge. While he is busy in controlling and commanding nature to serve his physical needs, he has neglected his own internal nature, to study himself in depth. This drawback can be made up by providing himself by himself a spiritual basis to his life on earth. In other words, he should recover his faith in spirituality.

With all the gifts bestowed on humanity by science and socialistic doctrines, which are moving the minds of men and women the world over, it is still miserable. There is anguish in the minds of men and women everywhere. They are groping in the dark.
