Vedic Mathematics New Horizons : Initial Lessons

A Ganita Sutras constitute a complete system. It is self contained set up. Even the axioms and postulates being availed and at work are inherently imbedded in the Sutras themselves. Credit goes to Swami Bharti Krshna Tirtha Ji Maharaj to focus the attention of the world of mathematics about the potentialities and values of these systems. Unfortunately all the works of Swami Ji have not reached us but never the less the process to reach at the working system is well preserved in the words of Swami Ji himself. As such, the responsibility lies upon the present generation to unfold the potentialities range of these Sutras.The present two volumes, of INITIAL LESSONS and ADVANCE LESSONS would give glimpses of the NEW HORIZONS of VEDIC MATHEMATICS. These lessons aim to initiate unfolding process of Ganita Sutras, with the promise of transcendence through the existing mental blocks and thinking processes responsible for mathematical notes being faced at present.

Dr. S.K.Kapoor is well known authority upon the ancient Discipline of Vedic Mathematics. He has been devoted for the cause of revival of the ancient discipline. He has been awarded Guru Gangeshwarananda Veda Ratna Puraskar 1997 by Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan for his excellence and research in the field of Vedic Sciences and Mathematics.From the conceptual format of Doctoral thesis of Dr. Kapoor titled 'Mathematical basis of Vedic Literature' to his first book "Vedic Geometry, to the whole range of books (Fermat's last theorem and higher spaces reality course, Foundations of Higher Vedic Mathematics, Goldbach Theorem, Glimpses of Higher Vedic Mathematics, Learn and Teach Vedic Mathematics, Vedic Mathematics Decodes, Space Book, Practice Vedic Mathematics Skills) and now the present set of five books (The Teaching of Vedic Mathematics, Learning Vedic Mathematics on First Principles, Vedic Mathematics Basics, Vedic Mathematics Skills and Vedic Geometry Course) is a big range which promises layout for re-construction of Vedic mathematics of its ancient wisdom glory.

Swami Bharti Krishna Tirtha Ji Maharaj well demonstrated potentialities of Ganita Sutras. The illustrative applications of Ganita Sutras worked out by Swami Ji, attracted the attention of the world of mathematics. But the Discipline again has started having signs of stagnation for want of further clues. As it appears that the scholars are getting confined, to the domain of the illustrative demonstrations given by Swami Ji. Being clueless, as to further applications of Ganita Sutras, the subject has not entered the main stream of knowledge. Now with these two volumes of initial and advance lessons of Dr. S. K. Kapoor, new hope of revival of the Ancient Discipline has become lively. Inspired by the works of Dr. Kapoor, we, the 1360 Staffing and Training Solutions Pvt. Ltd., company in collaboration with the Unicon Trust and Paramount Knowledge Pvt. Ltd. Company are planning to take up the Project: 'Vedic Mathematics' for its dissemination and research.We shall be requesting Dr. S. K. Kapoor to help us structure Vedic Mathematics Teachers Courses and soon we would like to take up these courses in the right earnest.I am sure that these LESSONS, as the Title conveys shall be leading the Students, Teachers, Scholars and Institutions dedicated for 'Dissemination and Research' in the field of Vedic Mathematics, to New Horizons of the Discipline.
