Where's the Sun? is collaboration between a master Warily artist, a design student of IDC, lit Bombay and the publishers?

Roma Singh met Janu Bhiva Ravate at Dahanu, at Warily village in Maharashtra, and sent photographs of his paintings to Tulika. The incredible detail and humor of his paintings inspired editor and writer, Niveditha Subramanian, to string together this story, which the artist then recreated as one large painting on canvas. Roma extracted parts of it - and the art of the Warless, traditionally done on walls, moved from one breathtaking canvas to the pages of this book.
