Preface In the beginning man was satisfied with the three basic wants of life such as food, clothing and shelter. Hence, all his inventions and discoveries, all his thought process and actions were directed in these said directions. The Science and Technology also followed suit. But latter on once these basic needs were fulfilled he started looking at things, which gave him an edge over the other group of human beings. Thus he started to look at things which were be- yond these three basic needs.

The day on which man invented fire (may be accidentally) the era of technology started. When he tried to analyze the propagation of fire, Science started. We have come a long way both from the point of view of time and concepts from the day fire was invented.
