A Note From The Publisher
I take pleasure in presenting the First Indian edition of the Index-cum-Concordance for the Holy Qur'an. This edition is an improvement over earlier editions. The glaring feature of this edition is that the addenda is now taken in the body of the book and some mistakes in mentioning page numbers have been rectified. The large dash and large leader have been reduced to four strokes thus giving contraction to the entire composition and in this process there is a substantial reduction of about 100 pages.
I want to convey thanks to Mr. Nurul Islam whose help counts a lot in the preparation of this book of great value.
However, I shall welcome views, suggestions and even criticism from the readers for further improvement of this book.
