Journal of The Department of Sanskrit- Set of Two Volumes (An Old Book)

Foreword The University is extremely happy to see the progress made by the Department of Sanskrit under the able leadership of Dr. Krishnanath Chatterji, who is not only a scholar of front rank in the country, but an excellent academic administrator, as well. The entire Department presents the spectacle of a well-knit house, the members whereof are eager to expand academic activities and enrich the stock of human knowledge. The Department is presently bringing out a Journal containing the writings of its members and other external experts. The entire exercise is meant to raise the academic standards in the University.

I wish the Department all success in this venture and I hope other Teaching Departments will come forward with similar proposals so that the academic standards of the University are raised as a whole.
