Indian Music possesses so much value for the life of the people of India that it aught to be known and understood by every man and woman who has India's good at heart, so that it may become cultivated in every city and village throughout the land. The music of India embodies new ideas of harmony and melody - finer notes, intricate and subtle variations which exemplify the beauty of "Ragas" of Indian music. Spiritual communication through music, enchanting life through music, soothing nerves and creating harmony and poise in every day life through music, depicting deepest emotions of life are a few phases of Indian music, the divine art.
