Book Description
The late R.N. Dandekar was a world-acclaimed Vedic scholar who believed in evolutionary Vedic mythology and wrote seven big volumes on Vedic bibliography. He was the first Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit in the University of Pune, Honorary Secretary of Bhadarkar Oriental Institute for fifty four years. Sahitya Akademi conferred on him the fellowship of honour. He was a national Professor in Sanskrit.
The author of this monograph M.G. Dhadphale (1937 2019) was a Professor of Sanskrit and Pali in Fergusson College for 38 years and a contributory teacher in the University of Pune. A Dean of the Arts faculty of Tilaka Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. Wrote thirty books on Orientology. Lectured in USA, London (Oxford), Tourin (Italy), Helsinki (Finland), Bukhasrest and Kyoto (Japan). An awardee of Manjusri Award Jammu Kashmir University. The Government of Iran (Persia) conferred on him the title Danishmand E Pharsee.
