Book Description

About the Book
India had felt that diversity of races there must be and should be, whatever may be its drawback, and you can never coerce nature into your narrow limits of convenience without paying one day very dearly for it. In this India was right but what she failed to realize was that in human beings differences are not like physical barriers of mountains fixed forever - they are fluid with life's flow, they are changing their courses and their shapes and volumes.

Rabindranath Tagore was multifaceted, visionary and above all a universal human being who had felt for the poverty stricken. He worked for the Universal brotherhood and wanted to uplift the poor. He dedicated his whole life for sustainable humanity and spread the same message through his works in numerous forms. The theme and aim of this Seminar is a consequence of Tagore's above mentioned lecture. He dreamt of India's National Integration and flow from various languages has made this edited volume multilingual and multidisciplinary. As the diversity of colors make the rainbow elegant so is the multilingual and multi faceted concepts made this edited volume enriched with new directions towards sustainable development of humanity, races and gender. As pointed by the Poet that India has accepted its diversity of races and there is no fixed boundaries or mountains like obstacle. It indicates that different cultures are mingling together for good and betterment of the society. People from diverse background and culture are respecting and enjoying the differences. Education has widened the viewpoint of the people to accumulate the diversification. From the beginning of the human civilization and till the doomsday the different of opinions existed and will last, giving opportunity to discussion and solution to the problems the diversification has created. The whole World has become a Global Village where not only multicuisine is a household name now but different language translation techniques and applications has been invented to understand and diversify the field of knowledge. I am sure such kind of seminar and publications will enrich our society and ensure more responsible citizens of Future generations.

In the land of Tagore, the Seminar was recalling and reclaiming the Poet's call towards unity. Rabindranath in his lectures says that "India is too vast in its area and too diverse in its races. It is many countries packed in one geographical receptacle. It is just opposite of what Europe truly is namely one country made into many.
