Catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit Manuscripts- Jodhupur Collection Part- VIII (An Old and Rare Book)

Preface This is the eighth volume of the Catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit manuscripts preserved in the Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute, Jodhpur. It contains description of 1091 manuscripts in all covering Access ion Nos. from 26€47 to 28146. Like the previous volumes, this has also been prepared according to the pattern suggested by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. However, at the end of the volume, extracts from some important works have been furnished as appendices with the hope that these would add to the utility of the Catalogue and render it a little descriptive.

I am thankful to Sarvashri Thakur Datta Joshi and Dwarka Nath Sharma of the Institute who have taken much pains in the preparation of this volume. I am also thankful to Shri Giridhar Vallabh Dadhich, Junior Technical Assistant who corrected the proofs, etc. My thanks are due to the Managers, of the Sadhna Press & the Himalaya Printers, Jodhpur who inspite of some initial difficulties completed the printing work quite promptly.

We have taken every care that the volume should be quite accurate, still there might be some errors which might have crept inadvertently for which I crave the indulgence of the readers.
