Book Description
In 1990 Cho wrote the serial 'Engy Brahmanan' again in Thuglak. Alliance brought it out as a book in 1992. Encouraged by the tremendous public response to the book, later Cho produced the same as a tele-serial in Jaya TV. Initially it was planned for around 110 episodes. Popularity of the serial gained so much momentum, our late Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalitha requested Cho to bring out a second part. Again another 110 episodes were produced on a popular demand.
Each episode was interlaced with interesting questions and brilliant answers between Cho and his friend Nani. Sensing a winner, ingeniously Alliance Srinivasan wrote these conversations meticulously taking notes, listening to audio recordings of all the 220 episodes and made it into a book in Tamil titled 'Anraya Vedhangal Mudhal Inraya Vyavaharangal Varai.
From this book some of the questions and answers were serialised as 'Dharmathin Saaram' in Thuglak and the same is translated in English by Vijaya Subramaniam (Cho's sister) and Rukmani Aravamudan.
Now this translation work is published as 'Essence of Dharma' by Alliance Company.

This sloka appeared as the title song in the TV serial 'Engey Brahmanan'. A very special song with profound meaning.
