Born in the house of Late Pt. Bholanath Mishra (Father and Guru) in Varanasi. Dr. Prem Kishore Mishra has been rich in an original thinking and art talent since his student life.

You learn Sitar from Padamshri awarded Pt. Shivnath Mishra and Late Pt. Amarnath Mishra and scholar received from Late Prof. Krishna Chakraborty. You have done M.A. receivel the degree of Economics, Sangeet Praveen (M.Muse) and Doctor of Music (D.Muse) from Banaras Hindu University.

From his youth, he was honored with many honors and awards under many programs in the field of music in the country and abroad. He has presented successful programs in music festivals in many parts of the country as well as presented programs every year in Europe since 1995 in countries like Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Morocco etc. He is a graided artist of all India Radio and in the field of music, he was decorated with the 'Sangeet Kalaratna' award (Patna), Swar Shiromani award, Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Alankaran Sammuh etc.

From time to time, articles on music written by you are published in various magazines. Reading research papers in various national and international seminars, teaching training in workshops such as at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Ateliers the Ethnomusicology Geneva, Switzerland worked several times as guest lecturer for music training and is currently the music and stage performer of Banaras Hindu University. Faculty of Performing Arts, has been working since 2006 on the post of Assistant Professor in the department of Instrumental Music.

Human relations are the basic pillars of society through a family. Social traditions and customs have played an invaluable contribution in the development of India civilization Culture. These transitions begin with melodious musical sounds. This phonetic environment is contained from our customs to our daily routine. We ourselves are so attached to in that we cannot separate our existence from it.

Music is a powerful, easy and scientific means of providing complete life. Music is not just a matter of learning. But it is an invaluable medicine to give peace and satisfaction to the listeners who are suffering from the difficulties of their daily lives. Music as means of entertainment has two ability to take the human mind to an extraordinary high lived.

The Harmony of speech, life and mind is established in music, under the present self-composed Sawar-Scripted Book, the gat's of different talas and tunes of Hori, Chaiti and Kajari of Banaras have been included in the prevalent and obsolete Ragas.

I hope that the students of undergraduate and postgraduate and its equivalent classes will be benefited from the book presented. Through the book, an attempt has been made o give strong, concise and subject-centered to the students of music.

The present book is the second attempt of the author. God's grace has been immense in making this a reality, as well as the blessings of my parents and Gurus have always been received. In this book endeavor, the heartfelt support of my elder brother Nand Kishor Mishra and my wife "Lata Mishra" and both skilled sons "Abhishek and Shivang Mishra" young's talented duet Sitar player from Varanasi has kept me moving forward.
