Book Description
Yoga and ayurveda go back thousands of years and are a part of the cultural and spiritual heritage of India. Nowadays there is an increasing interest to use yoga and ayurveda for the health benefits and in treating disease. This makes it important to understand the benefits of these practices, the way in which the benefits occur and report all findings using standard research methods. This was the goal for starting a research foundation at patanjali Yogpeeth. The outcome of research from September 2007 to March 2015 is presented here. However this is a continuous path and journey and we aim to explore all dimensions of yoga and ayurveda.
