Book Description

Back of The Book

Shortly after takeoff, an aircraft crashes. Although it suffers extensive demage, all passenger including the crew miraculously escape. The air crash dashes plans of the President of India to spend up to a fortnight at Tirumala!

Despite his intense desire, the all-powerful Chief Sectary of the AP Government is not allowed (by the invisible hand) to climb up the Seven Hills!

An ardent devotee of Lord Balaji, stranded on the ghat road to Tirumala during midnight along with his newly married daughter and son-in-law, is blessed ‘differently.’

A midnight thought propels the Executive Officer to rush to Bangalore the next morning and confer the Asthan Vidwan honour on an aged scholar only to realize 24 hourse later that it is an act of destiny.

A sacred ceremony, ‘Ashtabandhanam’ to the idol of Lord Balaji, comes to a standstill for want of a set of nine gems (navaratnas). In that moment of distress, a couple comes to the rescue of the Executive Officer past midnight.

Mr. PVRK Prasad, who served as TTD Executive Officer during 1978-82, depicts his breathtaking encounters with the Invisible Power in this book.

Foreword

In this book, I have read the experiences of Mr. P.V.R.K. Prasad IAS, pertaining to mostly his tenure as Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

Every episode whetted my curiosity to go to the next episode. They are exciting and full of devotion. He has not given any spiritual message.

Yet, the miracles through which he narrated the visible effect of the Invisible Power keeps the reader enthralled.

Narration is simply engrossing.

My compliments to Mr. Prasad.

May God bless him.
