About the Author

The author, His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Bharati Krishna Tirtha (a.D. 1884-1960) born attirnelveli of Tamil-Nadu State presided over the oly Seat of Adi Shankaracharya as the 143rd successor in a.d. 1925. His Holiness was endowed with unique qualities like vast learning, vast Sadhana, fearlessness, courage, desire to render service to the masses, patriotism, proficiency in English and Sanskrit. he was a freedom-fighter for Indian independence and a renowned mathematician who authored internationally reputed "Vedic Mathematics". His guidance was always sought by internationall reputed institution. He shed His mortal coil in South Mumbai at banganga. He was succeeded by 144th jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Niranjandev Tirtha Maharaj.
