Long before the world knew Indian fashion, as it exists today, Meher Castelino had begun her journey from beauty queen to the international pageants and a career in fashion was born. But not from the point of view of design but the most meticulous, detailed and carefully researched information, collection on collection. Meher the fashion journalist would always be there long before the ladies would arrive, examining the inside and outside, the thought process, the story in shoot, and every detail that went into the new collections.

I have rarely encountered such a missionary zeal before someone deciding, if it was worth the exaltation or not.
