मलाशयरोग चिकित्सा विज्ञान: A Text Book of Proctology

Prof. Dr. Chaturbhuja Bhuyan is a renowned name in the field of Ayurveda Science. As a veteran Surgeon of Ayurveda Dr. Bhuyan has devoted his last 33 years in teaching and Research for treating different diseases using wonderful sutras of his Ayurvedic formulas.

Presently Dr. Bhuyan as the Head of the Depertment of Surgery in IPGTPRA, Gujrat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar is engaged himself in teaching and research the Post graduates & Ph.D. scholars and leading them in a right direction. He is not only circumscribed with the field of Ayurveda but this prolific and outstanding manifold character has accredited him with other engagements also. Dr. Bhuyan was a member of Senate and academic Council of Utkal University and also associated with several educational works of CCIM, WHO and of different Universities in the State of Chatishgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Karnatak, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, etc. His considerable research based on thesis and synaptic topics in Science and Social Welfare has been published in more than hundreds esteemed Oriya & English daily Newspaper and periodicals.

Dr. Bhuyan has participated in many Seminar, Workshops involved by number of National and International Universities/Institutions. His valuable deliberations and outstanding performance in Ayurveda has facilitated him in many ways. Besides, Dr. Bhuyan in recognized specially for establishing Indian Proctology Society and registering it as a Voluntary Health Organisation. With the help of Government and Non Government Organisations the Society has been rendering health service both in and outside the State.

Dr. Bhuyan was graduated in Ayurveda Science in the year 1975 and followed by his P.G. in 1981 as well as Ph.D. in 1991. He has also achieved many distinguish fellowships from different foreign Institutions. His attribution towards extensive research in PCA therapy, a new concept in Ayurvedic Surgery has bestowed with many credit.

He is associated with many organisations viz Indian Red-cross Society, Indian Cancer Society International Council of Ayurveda. Orissa Bigyan Academy, ISCKON Pragnya mission Indian Science Congress etc.
