About the Author Born on S.Kayarkanni did her post-graduation in Economics and Mathematical Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University She took her M.Phil, and doctorate degree from the same University. She did her M.B.A., degree in Human Resource Management from Alagappa University. She served in the Teaching Faculty of Mother Teresa Women's University and Lady Doak College. She is guiding the M.Phil and Ph.D., Students of Economics She has contributed more than sixty research papers to various journals related to Agricultural Research, Marketing, Epigraphy, Ono-mastics, etc. Her research papers have figured in the leading journals like Agricultural Situation in India, Mano Research Papers, Mano Research Forum, Industrial Resurgence in Rural India, Scope and Strategies, Revam-ping Financial Sector, Studies in Indian Epigraphy, Studies in Indian Place Names, Journal of Ancient Sciences and Archaeological Society of India, Voice of the Hindecon, Kisan World, Minerals and Metals Review, International Journal of Environment and Development and so on. She has authored the books entitled Econo-mics Analysis of Fertilizer use for Major Crops, Monetary Economics; Indian Economy, Environmental Economics, Foundation Course in Science and Technology and Monetary Economic Policies, etc. She has made and inroad into several national, regional conferences, seminars and workshops through her rich and significant contribution on the latest researches on various aspects of economics, environment, agricul-tural growth, epigraphy, etc. she is presently the Associate Professor in Economics in Sri Parasakthi for Women.
She was one of the editors of the Journal of Ancient Sciences and Archaeological Society of India. She is presently the Joint Secretary of the above Society.
