Book Description

About the Book

It is expected of a man to maintain not only good or better but also the best behaviour and relations with everyone wherever he proceeds. The flowers should pour out from our mouth everywhere. Sweet speech and tender character sweeten the conduct. The man who maintains sweet conduct makes progress in all the directions of the self benediction and the common good.

To be tolerant, to fulfil one's duty, not to perceive defects of others, to forgive, not to be obstinate, to be simple and polite, to preserve loving nature, to be ever cheerful, not to feel offended even by receiving unfavourable treatment from the followers and fellowmen, to keep patience, not to feel puffed and contracted in gain and loss, to maintain inner affection for the one who is even when superficially reprimanded for his error, even after chiding to give him an affectionate pat at times, to keep on minutely testing the temperaments of all persons through their actions and behaviour and to remain cautions from them, not to be attached with any one, not to keep followers and companions apart even by receiving some contrary treatment, rather to keep them close with love, to afford an opportunity to the person to improve who has deviated from his character but politely confesses his mistake, to expel him for ever from the community if he is obstinate and does not confess the mistake committed by him, not to ever favour the errors and evils, not to keep attached anywhere by taking everything like a dream-all these are the norms to keep the conduct pure.

Foreword

This book is a sine qua non for happiness and success in the life of every human being. It seeks the harmony of individual efforts and social relations, not in any makeshift way, but within the framework of the Moral Order. It seeks the creative art of life through human conduct. This book is a treatise par excellence on the art of living through human behaviour. In one sense, this book is a manual of the codes of conduct. It describes the tool, we need for the sublimity of our life.

The author of this marvellous book in Hindi, a great spiritual master of the mo1em times, the venerable preceptor, Saint Shri Abhilash Sahebji, the propounder of the Kabir Parakh Sansthan, Kabir Nagar, Allahabad who holds an unparallel, superb command over the Parakh philosophy of the great spiritual master of the yore, Sadguru Shree Kabir Saheb, has more than eighty such and even more voluminous books at his credit; has won the wide range recognition, applauses and appreciation from many of the erudites, scholars, saints and sages and seekers and aspirants of the modern times for all the excellence of his works and for his ascetic life bejewelled with the great sense of simplicity, renunciation, dispassion and the milk of human kindness. In this book this great spiritual master diagnoses the intricacies of human nature with such a penetrating insight, perfect mastery and consumate skill, absorbing the most subtle concepts of human psychology that one is left wondering at his sweep and depth. His prescriptions leavened by righteousness, ethics, morality and humanness are sagacious and practical to the core.

Let us hope that many among us who read between the lines will assimilate and practise in their daily life the wise advice given by this great spiritual master as these chapters deal with the duties of man as a householder and as an ascetic.

Preface

All are able to talk about the religion, spiritualism and God; people are also able to discuss on the position after this life, but there are but a few who are able to muse over as to what should be the mutual behaviour, interaction and relations between father and son, son and father, wife and husband, husband and wife, brother and brother, master and servant, servant and master, preceptor and disciple, disciple and preceptor or to say man and man. With the disharmony in the behaviour and relations, today the family, community, society and nation are all in the position of dispersion and fragmentation. Man has lost the mutual love and trust by falling within the mad race of selfishness; whereas the wall of human behaviour can stand erected on the foundation of love and trust.

We have converted this world into the hell owing to the bitterness in behaviour; even then we have sustained a hope that we shall get heaven after the death. We do not even know this much that in absence of the melody of behaviour, the thousands of the tall talks of religion and spiritualism fall flat and prove to be quite insipid. The gloomy part of the matter is the so-called religious people are themselves entangled and remain under the shadow of suspicion towards one another, whereas the suspicion cleaves and hollows out our life like a wood-worm. The one who is able to get rid of this wood-worm of suspicion, his behaviour then becomes trustworthy, sweet and full of love and his life becomes refreshing and blissful. How to make the domestic and social behaviour happy and pleasant by parting with selfishness, suspicion and mistrust and how to derive the charms of heavenly bliss by living amidst family and community-the present valuable treatise namely 'Vyavhar Ki Kala will definitely prove to be a source of an immense inspiration in this direction. I can vouch say that with the study, contemplation and the conduct accordingly, the tree of our Mutual behaviour will blossom and grow green. The study of this precious piece will render this type of the experience to the aspiring readers.
