About the Author

Dr. Dilip Kumar Kushwaha : He is an academician at Gurukul Kangri Univeristy, Haridwar. He is presently serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology and has diploma in civil engineering. Dr. Kushwaha have vast experience in conservation, explorations and excavations from proto historic to historic period.

Jagpal Singh : He is an Archaeologist and research scholar at Gurukula Kangri University Haridwar. Mr. Jagpal singh has specialization in Cultural and Heritage studies. And have several books on his credit.

The conservation is defined as a process in which a monument or an object is preserved in its existing state from further destruction or change. It involves a variety of repair to increase the longevity of the monument and as far as possible preserving the authenticity of the monument.
