Climate Change- A Call for Action

Foreword The world has changed dramatically in the last hundred and odd years from the smithereens of economic substance to the incredibly gargantuan industrial, economic and urban projects which prompt the politician and the planner to take immense pride of having changed the contours of the universal geography ever transforming the world view of the planet Earth. The rich and the developed nations of the world cajoled themselves into conceiving huge economic plans for their nations by even indulging in cahoots and produced materials for happiness, joy and weapons of war and defense that went on inexorably extracting huge natural resources and polluting the environment in myriad ways.

The search for affluence and money blindly enveloped every other nation in the world and a saga of becoming rich tethered every soul in this world which, knowingly or not, went on withering as the burden of the stupendous projects of human greed disfigured and vitiated the landscapes, the water bodies and the beautiful icescapes that had been protecting the Earth all this while. The soil, the water, the air and the amazing forests have been literally decimated and damaged, as we took them for granted, and here we stand today exposed to the evils of our relentless actions on the immensely beautiful and spectacular Earth which was the greatest gift for humans and all life that exists on this planet.
