Modern Research and rapid advance in Ayurveda Medical Science have increased multifold volumes in medical literature. Most of the students find it difficult to shift the desired necessary knowledge from the vast sea of progress and may looses the sight of basic practical materials. Noting this insufficiency, an attempt is made by me to put before students "Comprehensive Work Manual Modern on Kriya Sharir" covering Ayurveda as well as aspect strictly based upon latest CCIM syllabus.

This text book is just like assignment book. In this text book all the topics of Kriya Sharir and modern physiology are compiled in the form of questions. After each question sufficient space is provided to answer those questions.

As the concern teacher finishes the topic of Kriya Sharir, the students are advised to collect the elaborate knowledge on the topic from different textbook and Samhita to answer the questions in his/her own way.

Dr. S.K. Ranjan is the Assistant Professor and Head of the department of Kriya Sharir at Gangasheel Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. His basic education (10th) was completed from JNV Thawe, Gopalganj, and (12th) from JNV Vrindavan, West Champaran,. The Author has completed his under graduation (BAMS) from Govt. Ayodhya Shiva Kumari Ayurveda College, Begusarai and remain overall topper in B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He completed his post graduation (MD) from Institute of Medical Science, Banaras Hindu University (IMS, BHU), Varanasi, UP.

Dr S.K Ranjan has written numbers of scientific paper in various scientific journals of Ayurveda which are under process. He has also written three chapters in a book. He has presented several papers in different national and international seminars and conferences on different topics and attended various workshops. The upcoming books are "Practical Book on Kriya Sharir," "Kriya Sharir Made Easy" and "Objective Book on Kriya Sharir."
