The habit of consulting a dictionary for meaning will improve the knowledge of the children.

My first dictionary with 1,500 words appeared 10 years ago and one with 3,600 words was published subsequently in the year 1988. The present dictionary contains 5,000 words while the one with 9,000 words is in printing.

This book will be of great interest to readers of all ages and it is my purpose to make the dictionary something that children will use not only with ease but with pleasure.
