About the Book Astrological seers like Parasara, Jaimini and later seers like Varahamihira, Kalidasa and Mathreswara have given the status of Planets to Rahu and Ketu in prediction because they possess the power to negate the planetary influences and to form eclipses.

The book deals with the different kinds of Sarpayogas. The first chapter Traces the history of the nodes in different systems of world astrology, The second chapter deals with sample chart analysis based on Rahu and Ketu. The third chapter deals with critical analysis of nativity charts of different persons and how their life has been influenced by Rahu Ketu combine. The last chapter, deals with the remedial measures adopted for Kalasarpa yoga and places for remedial measures such as temples and propitiatory rites for such remedial measures.

About the Author Late Prof. K M Palaniappan, was an expert in astrological resources and was resource faculty for several academic institutions and had contibuted to several magazines and books on different aspects of Astrology, He had given a series of video lectures on different aspects of Astrology.
